Lean on Me: Our Women’s Health Team Offers a Hand to Women Harmed by Lipitor, Transvaginal Mesh and Zoloft

Everyone can use a helping hand every once in a while — the problem is, how do we ask for help?

Especially women. We’ve learned from an early age that we’re the caretakers, that we’ve got it all under control (or at least have to pretend that we do!); we’ve learned that we have to step up, to “lean in,” to always smile and be polite and that sometimes we may even have to hide our feelings in order to be taken seriously.

Today we’re asking you to forget all that.

Our Women’s Health Team is a focused group at Baron and Budd comprised completely of women dedicated to helping other women as they face one of the most significant issues that disproportionately hurt women: Dangerous side effects and injuries from pharmaceutical products like Lipitor, Zoloft and transvaginal mesh.

How do we do this? Well, it’s simple: We’re women — and we care about helping other women. While our Women’s Health Team is a supportive branch that works to assist the lawyers at Baron and Budd, that’s not our prime focus. Instead our focus is to help women in their day-to- day struggles and decisions associated with the pharmaceutical issues. We are not lawyers. We are not businessmen or women. We are caretakers and we are here to help you take care of you.

Our team has been informed by the lawyers at Baron and Budd about all of the need-to-know information regarding filing potential pharmaceutical cases. So we can offer practical advice about whether or not you may have a potential case. But we also do much more than that.

Outside of the medical jargon and the pharmaceutical company jargon and the legal jargon, we speak down-to-earth, real-world talk, with equal parts sympathy and empathy. We pause. We listen. We hear you. And while we are available to listen, we are not here — not by any means — to push you into making a decision that you do not want to make. We just want to make sure that you understand all of the facts of your potential case so that you can make that decision for yourself. And we want, especially, for you to feel as if you have someone to talk to, to speak with freely and to tell the truth about how you have been affected.

Some of the injuries involved with transvaginal mesh and Lipitor are not just debilitating or earth-shattering, they are also embarrassing, really. And it takes some serious guts to speak up for yourself when facing someone from the medical or even legal fields.

Our aim with the Women’s Health Team is to eliminate that embarrassment and the stigma associated with the “speaking up” part of the equation.

We are here for you. And we are here because we are you, we’re on the same page, we have been in your shoes and we face those risks too when we or our mothers, sisters and best friends trust those same pharmaceuticals that you did.

As Women’s History Month draws to an end, we invite you to do the same for your mothers, sisters and best friends. If you know a women who has been injured by a dangerous pharmaceutical or pharmaceutical device such as Lipitor, transvaginal mesh or Zoloft please let them know about our Women’s Health Team. You can reach us at 866-520-2755 or by contacting us here.

Let’s get there together.
